Compliance Requirements for ARML

Alabama Residential Mortgage Lender

#1 Actively serve 24 months on AMBA Board and/or committee.

#2 Education- 36 CEU’s required

#3 Experience- 2 years in Mortgage Business

#4 Term and Application Fee- The term will be two calendar years and renewable every two years if requirements have been met. The application fee will be $100 initially and $100 at renewal. AMBA will set aside 50% ($50 per person) to publicly promote members that have the certification.

All CONDITIONS ABOVE MUST BE MET IN CONJUNCTION WITH #5

#5 How to Qualify:

Option 1: Take ARML class and pass ARML Test

OR Option 2: Have enough points to qualify. If a member has a total of 10 points they qualify without the ARML class and test. Points are earned based on one point per year of experience in the mortgage industry and 2 points per year of service on AMBA board or committee.
